The Bible Project Podcast
with Jon Collins & Tim Mackie

“ videos are actually animated versions of much larger conversations that have been distilled into the most salient points. In The Bible Project podcast, Tim and Jon invite you into their dialogue concerning the biblical theology behind each video.”

Faith and Feminism
hosted by Meghan Tschanz

“This is a…podcast…dedicated to reclaiming feminism for the Christian church…We believe in a woman’s ability to preach, teach, lead, work, stay at home, mother, create, and do literally anything else. We empower women in their choice and giftings to be whatever God has called them to be.”

Freakonomics Radio
with Stephen J. Dubner

“Discover the hidden side of everything with Stephen J. Dubner, co-author of the Freakonomics books. Each week, Freakonomics Radio tells you things you always thought you knew (but didn’t) and things you never thought you wanted to know (but do)—from the economics of sleep to how to become great at just about anything. Dubner speaks with Nobel laureates and provocateurs, intellectuals and entrepreneurs, and various other underachievers.”

Faith 2020
with Michael Wear

“As one of a handful of people to oversee religious outreach for a winning presidential campaign, Michael Wear guides you through the tumultuous waters of faith and politics this campaign season. Twice a month, Faith 2020 will host leading journalists, politicos, and religious leaders for in-depth interviews that will help us to understand the ways faith is influencing this election. Along with Michael’s expert analysis, we’ll make sense of how campaigns are engaging faith on the trail and how various religious groups are reacting to the candidates. The And Campaign and Michael Wear invite you to tune in and subscribe to Faith 2020.”

Impeachment, Explained
with Ezra Klein

“We are living through history, but keeping up with the unending stream of revelations, statements, tweets, and disputes is already difficult enough. If we’re going to understand this inquiry—and this presidency—we need to slow down the news cycle long enough to separate the signal from the noise. Every Saturday, Ezra Klein will do just that—through deep conversations with Vox reporters and leading policy voices about what’s going on, why it matters, and where it leaves us now.”

Refugia: a podcast about renewal
hosted by Debra Rienstra

“Refugia are places of shelter where life endures in times of crisis. From out of these small sanctuaries, life re-emerges, and the world is renewed… This is a podcast, ultimately, about watching for places where God is working at renewal—of the earth, of the church, culture, and society. It’s about seeking how we might participate willingly and courageously in that divine work.”

Revolutions
hosted by Mike Duncan

“A weekly podcasting exploring great political revolutions.  Mike Duncan has a degree in Political Science from Western Washington University. After completing The History of Rome podcast he studied Public History at Texas State University… and now produces the Revolutions Podcast.”

  1. Econtalk is a great podcast. I never miss it. It will make you smarter about a wide variety of subjects, (and you don’t have to care about Economics to love it) but especially it is a model for civil conversation with people of widely divergent views. We can all use that.
