Jeff VanDerWerff is Dean of the Social Sciences at Northwestern College where he has taught courses in American government and public life for nearly two decades and continues to wrestle with the political theology of engaging democracy as a faithful follower of Jesus.  A native of the Pacific Northwest, he makes his home in Orange City with Kara, their four kids—Jake, Kate, Ian & Elin—a dog, Harley, as well as a rabbit named Diamond.
