The Hebrew word meaning peace, harmony, and completeness. It is often used to indicate the harmonious condition of creation, in which all creatures flourish and live fully as God intends them to live. The full realization of shalom will not occur until after Christ’s second coming, but we get some glimpses of this in the here and now, through the work of the Holy Spirit.
