  1. Beauty enchants and attracts us – leading us into awe and further inquiry! As Caldecott says in his book Beauty for Truth’s Sake, it is the search for the Logos – Christ, in whom all things cohere (Colossians 1). Thanks for directing our hearts upward toward worship in this wonderful post!

  2. This post reminds me of the first class period of Calculus 151 years ago with professor Leetsma at Calvin College. He started out by saying that in order to understand Science one needed to study Anatomy. To understand Anatomy requires the study of Physiology, Physiology requires Biology, which requires Chemistry, which requires Physics, which ultimately requires Mathematics. So the pinnacle exercise in understanding God’s creation is Mathematics.
