  1. I loved this movie. I thought it was a beautiful portrayal of how life is lived in the ordinary moments of our lives with the larger events as occasional punctuation points along the way. I just finished the novel A Little Life and found that the movie and the novel had a lot in common–that what drives our meaningful relationships is the ordinary, even mundane parts of our life. I thought it was beautiful.

  2. I could not agree more with this review. This was a very painfully long film. I kept fast forwarding it. I do not understand why there were senses like waiting for a light on a corner or running through the streets that just dragged on. Perhaps I just don’t ‘get it’. I told all my friends not to bother watching it. But somehow I am sure it will win for “Best Film”.
