About AJ Funk
AJ Funk is a junior at Dordt University majoring in Theology, with emphases in Theological and Biblical Studies, as well as Philosophy. Born and raised in Sheldon, IA, Northwest Iowa is his home. He occasionally preaches at local churches, while remaining a faithful member of First Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center. He hopes to continue his education in seminary and graduate school after completing his degree at Dordt, with the eventual goal of becoming a professor of theology.

About Stanley Carlson-Thies
Stanley Carlson-Thies is founder of the Institutional Religious Freedom Alliance at the Center for Public Justice. IRFA promotes the religious freedoms needed by faith-based organizations. He is co-author of Free to Serve (2015), was in the Bush White House faith-based office, and advised the Obama faith-based initiative. His political science Ph.D. is from the University of Toronto. In May, 2019, he was presented the national religious freedom award by the North American Religious Liberty Association of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
